The second edition of IMS Intelligence.360 -- offering a provocative, in-depth examination and analysis of the pharmaceutical/biotech industry in 2005 -- is now available online for clients and other stakeholders via the IMS Website.
IMS Intelligence.360 provides an overview of developments in 20 key pharma markets by IMS people who work in those markets. There also are more detailed studies of events and trends in the US, Germany, Japan, China, Mexico and Turkey – plus a sense of what to look for this year. A section called “Numbers” highlights a broad range of 2005 statistical information, on regional sales trends, therapy classes, brands, blockbuster drugs, and launches. “Disease Dynamics” turns the spotlight on four high-profile pharma “targets” – Oncology, Metabolic Syndrome, Antiplatelet Agents and Alzheimer’s Disease.
Just like last year’s IMS Intelligence.360, the 2005 edition takes a look at ten important harbingers of change – significant events that indicate where healthcare is going, how various stakeholders are likely to respond, and what the implications will be for patients, doctors, pharma companies and global health. There’s also a “Harbingers Update” section that offers brief commentary on each of the ten harbingers identified in the 2004 edition. The Global Intranet will feature each of the 2005 harbingers beginning next week.
