Senior Vice President, Business Line Management

Kevin Knightly is senior vice president, Business Line Management, responsible for leading IMS’s sales force effectiveness, portfolio optimization, and launch and brand management business lines worldwide, as well as the company's payer solutions initiatives. Named to his current role in August 2007, Knightly previously was president, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), with responsibility for IMS operations in more than 50 countries.     

With more than two decades of service at IMS and its predecessor companies, Knightly has held a number of senior financial, operations, marketing and general management posts. He has served as chief financial officer for both IMS North America and Europe, and was senior vice president, Marketing and Major Markets, EMEA.

While in EMEA, Knightly enhanced the strategic plan process for the region’s business lines, and expanded the breadth and depth of IMS offerings. He also was instrumental in designing and implementing a region-wide program to deliver significant cost savings while enhancing client service capabilities.

Knightly holds a B.S. in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross, and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern Business School.
