Areas of Expertise
With the goal of placing his science background into a business context, Richard found IMS P&R to be the perfect fit. He joined the company as an Analyst in 2001 and has since been promoted to the Senior Consultant position.
Since joining IMS P&R, Richard has been presented with a number of great opportunities and experiences over time which have captured his interest and helped him to build his consulting skills. IMS P&R continues to develop innovative strategic solutions to client issues, and with this Richard has been able to develop his strategic approach to projects and his expertise in a range of therapy areas such as rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes. A number of important elements of IMS P&R have attracted and retained Richard in this area – the most important two being the strong collaborative team atmosphere and the variety of work. Working on initial pricing strategies for a Phase II product through to developing a Value Dossier to help clients apply our pricing recommendations provides ongoing interest, reward and challenge.
In addition to project work, Richard has been involved in a number of internal activities which have helped to shape the company resources and culture. Activities include:
-
Improving IMS P&R knowledge management
-
Development of a system to more efficiently manage our expert stakeholder contacts
-
Strengthening our recruitment program
