Summer interns have the chance to simulate the Senior Consultant experience to the greatest extent possible over the course of just a few months, resulting in an educational consulting experience with high levels of responsibility. Typically, this involves working on both a client-facing project that can be seen through from start to finish over the course of the summer, as well as a highly valued internal project that provides insight into a problem critical to the business. As a summer intern, you will:
-
Be paired with a Senior Consultant mentor who can guide you through your role as day-to-day manager of your project and provide valuable feedback on an ongoing basis
-
Conduct physician and payer market research as well as design and deliver critical segments of presentations to clients
-
Learn how IMS delivers sophisticated global consulting services to their clients in their core competencies of pricing and market access
-
Manage Analysts and Consultants who are assisting on your project
-
Learn how best to incorporate proprietary IMS market data to complement and enhance the consulting services rendered
-
Meet senior level executives through one-on-one lunches and other company-wide events
