Principal
As a Principal you will work directly with clients to provide value-added input, deliver projects built around strategic sales force effectiveness issues, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction, and develop business opportunities that will spur multiple assignments. You will also drive advancements in our practice methodologies including participation in thought leadership, research and development and creation of methodologies based on current client and industry needs.
Main accountabilities:

Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets by developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that address complex client issues.

Develop post-implementation revenue opportunities.

Be responsible for significant and tangible client impact from all engagements.

Seek out and identify new revenue opportunities ensuring a continuous flow of business from client engagements.

Take lead role in proposal development to ensure provision of actionable, on-target and timely proposals for clients.

Manage client interface and ensures project team achieves efficient and effective project delivery.

Serve as a solutions-based expert, internally and externally, by applying consultative problem solving skills.

Identify issues of importance to the industry/clients and work with Practice Leaders and/or Geographic Principals to develop tangible and commercial offerings.

Contribute to the enhanced awareness of IMS Consulting in the market place, e.g. through speaking engagements, client meetings, publications etc.

Proactively continue to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.

Proactively mentor, coach and share subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients.
Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

Bachelors Degree with at least 10 years experience in the pharmaceutical or consulting industry.

Masters degree preferred
-
Relevant SFE and modeling expertise a plus

In-depth and long-standing relationships with client companies, especially at a senior level

Exemplary business development skills

Broad understanding of the marketplace and professional/trade associations key people and companies.

Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques related to the functional area.

In-depth understanding of IMS data assets and the Consulting and Services core offerings.

Deep understanding of sales and marketing including market research, segmentation, sales force optimization, alignments, call planning and compensation.

Familiar with the fundamental processes of business, their interaction and the impact of external/internal influences on decision-making, growth and decline.
