As an oncology consultant for IMS Health Global Consulting, Dr. Fil Manuguid is responsible for providing expert advice and input to client oncology projects in areas such as market assessmentsof specific tumor types, oncology drug forecasting, oncology portfolio management, oncology in and out licensing, oncology drug performance management and pricing and reimbursement.
Prior to joining IMS, Dr. Manuguid served as Head of the Oncology Business Unit at Datamonitor, where she was responsible for overseeing the organization’s oncology portfolio and managing an analytical team responsible for publishing oncology market reports. Dr. Manuguid also spent four years at Isis Research in the United Kingdom as the Cancer Research Leader on a large quantitative-based oncology syndicated study examining the market trends of cancer specialists in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK. Prior to Isis, Dr. Manuguid spent four years in the Division of Drug Safety and Evaluation at Glaxo-Wellcome.
An active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO), the European Society of Medical Oncologists (ESMO), and the European Market Research Society (EMRS), Dr. Manuguid has worked with many leading oncology companies and is a regular lecturer at a variety of international oncology conferences. Dr. Manuguid is a noted author of a numerous articles appearing in leading medical journals on issues relating to cancer treatment and challenges associated with launching new oncology products. Her work has been published in high-profile publications such as New Frontiers, Pharmafocus and Biotechnology News.
Dr. Manuguid holds a Master of Science degree in Cancer Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine at University College in London. She has completed her PhD thesis on oncogene activity at the Institute of Nephrology and Urology at the University College and Middlesex Hospital.
