Pamela Santoni is a Senior Principal for IMS Health Global Consulting in its Pricing and Market Access practice. With ten years of consulting experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, Santoni is responsible for helping clients gain formulary access using pricing, reimbursement, clinical development and contracting strategies. Using a combination of qualitative and quantitative modeling techniques, Santoni works directly with clients to segment market stakeholders and develop targeted strategies to maximize revenues and profitability.
Leveraging her vast knowledge and understanding of hospital perspectives, government and private payers and their interactions with physicians and patients across a range of geographies (US, Europe, Latin America and Asia), Santoni has recently focused her pricing and reimbursement expertise in the area of oncology. Within this therapeutic area her experience ranges across supportive care, palliative care and primary therapy—including chemotherapies as well as targeted therapies, and orals and IVs, across a range of tumor types.
Prior to joining IMS, Santoni was a partner-level consultant at Towers Perrin. She also served as Managing Director at Scient Corporation.
Santoni holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Wharton School, at the University of Pennsylvania.
