Dr. Simone Seiter is a Principal for IMS Health Global Consulting. In this role, Dr. Seiter works with clients in defining strategies for their franchise and product portfolios, and developing market entry and sales and marketing approaches for the launch of oncology products. Dr. Simone has broad clinical and industry experience and has well-established relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in oncology throughout Europe.
Prior to joining IMS, Dr. Seiter spent six years as a Managing Consultant with Capgemini’s Life Science/Healthcare Sector where she focused on patient management programs, market entry strategies and efficiency assessments, and process redesign for hospitals. In addition to spending time as a clinical dermatologist at the University of Heidelberg and Homburg/Saar Germany, Dr. Seiter also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute/National Institute of Health in the U.S.
A board certified dermatologist with broad clinical and research experience in dermato-oncology, Dr. Seiter has served as a clinical investigator in multiple national and international studies. She is a member of numerous clinical and research organizations, and her research work in immunology and oncology has been published in many peer reviewed journals, such as J Exp Med, J Clin Oncol and Cancer Research.
Dr. Seiter holds a teaching assignment in health management at the University of Applied Sciences in Hannover, Germany, and lectures at a variety of industry conferences. She has received national and international recognition for her work on CD 44 splice variants.
Dr. Seiter holds an MD, PhD degree from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. She also earned a degree in business administration with a focus on hospital management, and an MBA from the University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm, Germany.
